Brain Twister

Wow so it turns out I am not entirely talking to the wall over here... cool!

This is only post two, but I can already feel a trend developing - hypothetical, emotional, metaphysical, and otherwise weird topics that I ponder lot but don't discuss very much. I like to think about concepts like these because it broadens our perspectives a bit, and creeps us out. And I've got a pretty basic one stuck in my head right now.

Infinity. Specifically, in terms of the universe. Outer space continuing forever is something I just can't wrap my head around. Seriously, have you thought about it? It's kind of corny, but exactly how long is forever? Imagine stretches of nebulas and solar systems and stars just going and going. What's outside of them? How can there not be a physical limit to space? When I picture the universe, there always has to be some kind of ending, some sort of box enclosing it. Because of that, I used to have this image as a little kid of our planets and galaxies existing in a little snow globe sitting on the mantlepiece in the house of some giants in a bigger world. But their world was only a snow globe too, in some larger place, and so on and so on. I guess this is starting to turn into a religious thing as well, so I'll stop before I get off topic.

Bonne nuit!
Dobranoc!
Goodnight, wall!

    1. That's true! I think we're drawn to the topic because it's so different from our day to day lives. Thanks for your feedback!

  2. Sometimes you need a place to write down the thoughts in your head to fully understand what you are thinking. But infinity is the kind of thing where there is no way to comprehend it. You can either choose to think about it in a snow globe kind of way, or you can ignore it and live in the moment because in the end, I belive humans will never truly be able to understand infinities. They truly are an interesting part of our lives. I like what you are doing here, you should totally keep it up!
